Streams of Babel

In this book, several unsuspecting people in America get poisoned by terrorists...through their water. The water supply in a couple of select areas has been contaminated with a waterbourne virus. And people that drink tap water receive this virus. The effects of it are flu-like symptoms, but are also accompanied by bloody noses, and ears. While hospitals and doctors struggle to find a cure, more people are discovered to have the illness. And the terrorists are still on the loose.
